Kodachrome

I took this picture a few weeks ago to finish up a roll of film. Yes, I'm still a dinosaur and use film in a 35mm camera... I just like the contrasts and colors better in film.

It was taken from the best view in my apartment, my bathroom window. Pretty sad to think the best view in my place is the toilet.

Whereas it's nowhere near as good as my best friend's photography, I'm not even near his class, I think it turned out pretty good.

I call it "Sunset from the Shitter"

Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my
Kodachrome away

-Paul Simon

Not a whole lot to say today, still walking on air from my phone call the other day. I'm off the next few days so I'll have some time to really get a good head of steam built up for a ripping bitch or two... Cindy Sheehan and some other ultra-lefties take cover!

Not really a big sports fan... I know, odd for a guy. I prefer baseball actually and the local minor league season is over with...

Have to work Friday anyway...

You had me laughing that your best view is the tolilet. I agree with the old regular camera.

I'm also old fashion and use a camera that takes 35 mm film. And for some reason I fear switching over to a digital camera. Maybe I'm afraid of change. I dunno.

I totally won't even deal with hard film anymore. I mean, unless its a wedding or something. And even then...

I just download all of the photos onto my compute and then back them up onto another hard drive. For you know, when my computer crashes. Cuz it will. Of course.
