I know, I know... The last few weeks have been a handful and I haven't had time to even think, let alone take the time to post something. The Sugar Harvest was finished last Thursday and I had the dubious distinction of hauling in the last sugar train into the mill for the year.After the mill went down for the summer, I was then busy on catching up on some much needed sleep, and taking care of other, ehem, extracurricular activities that I've been missing over the winter...
It was really nice to have a little female companionship over the last few days...
Now onto other things... I'd been planning a big trip now for a few years, and this year I'm finally going to do it. Flights and hotels have been booked. Stay tuned to this channel for photos throughout the my trip!
The one thing I really needed to do was renew my Passport... When I started planning this a few months ago I dug out my old passport and realized it had expired over two years ago, necessitating me getting a new one... It's so empty compared to my old one, and the photo is still just as horrible...I'll surprise you all with my destination as I post photos during the trip... I'm very excited, as this will be my first time outside of the US not requiring me wearing a uniform and (at least I surely hope not) people won't be trying to kill me... I've been to Canada and Mexico a few times, but to me that doesn't count as I never left the continent...
