Sleep is for pussies

Not really...
Between the Cruds and not having a day off in well over a month I'm completely exhausted. Since the crop started back at the end of September I've had exactly two days off, besides working shitloads of overtime over and above my own shifts, I've become completely run down.
Last night I made two mistakes in a row... Not really big ones, there was never any possibility of myself or anyone else getting hurt, nor would it have derailed my train... But they were big enough in my mind... Loud enough to let me know I really, really need a few days off.
So I've decided to take a few days off. A few people are coming back to work after being off injured so on the 23rd of this month I'm taking a whole weekend and going to Ft. Myers. I might do a little fishing, I might just lounge on the beach. Hell, I might even just stay drunk the entire weekend... But the one thing I will be doing is spending a LOT of time in bed...
Because I NEED some bedtime!

My sister lives in Ft Myers. I will tell her to keep an eye out for an overworked and exhausted Zombie walking around.

Hope some sleep brings ya back to normal.

You remember when you were a kid and they used to have to MAKE you go to bed? Inconceivable now. Rest well dude.

I guess I have lived in the ice and snow for too long--all I could think of when I read 'fishing' was, "Why does ANYONE want to sit on a frozen lake and fish?" I HAVE to get my head wired on correctly--or get out of here once in awhile! Hope you have a good time!
