I'm going to get labeled... But I don't give a rat's ass

But quite frankly, I really don't give a shit. I've been toying around about posting this for a while and haven't until now because I was afraid I'd be labeled as a racist... Because now if you're a white guy and say anything you're automatically labeled a racist. I'm not, but I can't relate this story without bringing race into it. I chatted with a friend a few weeks ago and she implored me to blog about it, but still I didn't because I didn't want that label as a racist.
But something happened tonight that just so inflamed me I just have had enough, and I feel like that guy in the old movie "Network"...
"I'm mad as hell! And I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Anyway, I had gone to WalMart tonight for some groceries and upon leaving I was wheeling my cart across the parking lot to my car and a family, who just happened to be black had finished loading there purchases into their car that was parked next to mine. The father, or who I think was the father, in front of his two kids, pushed his cart into the side of my car loud enough for me to hear it from several yards away... I stopped in disbelief. The man turned around and noticed me, raised his fist in the old Black Panther, 1960's style Black Power fist and shouted:

OBAMA!

My only crime, besides being a 40-something white guy? My car still sports a McCain~Palin bumper sticker.

What the FUCK!

It's not like I have a new vehicle. I drive a 1992 Lincoln... Not the nicest car in the lot. But it's mine, I paid for it and it runs pretty good. I never did a damn thing to this motherfucker and I've never seen him before today. Did I fucking deserve that? This wasn't a thug~type black guy and family either. He looked middle-class like me, nice vehicle and even had the same Labor Union decal on his car... He most probably works for the same company I do, we're Union Brothers. But still...

I bit my tongue and loaded my groceries into my newly dinged car and drove home, fuming on the event. I'm so goddamn sick of this shit...

In my 43 years I've had more fucking racism shoved down my throat that I care to repeat. All against me, because I'm a fucking white guy. But time and time again, I'm the fucking racists. Well, tell you what! I'm fucking sick to death of it!

I digress. here's what I wasn't going to blog about because I'd be labeled a racist. And it took place at the very WalMart I was at tonight.

I shit you not.

A few days after the election last November, a black woman went into WalMart and loaded her shopping cart up with well over $300 of groceries... And decided to walk out of the store without paying. Security went after her and the police were called... She felt she had a right to the groceries. When asked to pay for them, she replied:

"I don't hafta pay for em! Theyz be free!"

Officer Friendly: "Ma'am, you've got to pay for them!"

Woman: "I don't hafta pay for em! Obama be'z in da Whitehouse now! He'z gonna take care of us now! We'z gettin' all our groceries fo' free!"

What tha fuck! George Bush was still President, but yet, the Savior, The God King Obama, The New Messiah, was going to pay for her groceries now.

Needless to say the woman went to jail. Of course because we whiteys have been oppressing her for so long. She's a political prisoner in her mind no doubt.

I'm so fucking sick of this... I'm sick of Obama, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, The Black Panthers, Nations of Islam and the rest of their ilk. Beside all the Socialist programs and our money being spent in untold trillions for bullshit social programs everything I've worked for my entire life is going to be spent away to the point they'll be nothing left when I retire...

But I'm a racist just because I just so happened to be born a white male. I remember something my grandmother told me when I was very young, because she died when I was about 5 or 6... When she came from Ireland in the early 1900's she remembers seeing signs...

"Help wanted...

Irish Need Not Apply!"

Don't you fucking talk to me about oppression and slavery. My family wasn't even here before the late 1800's. We had no part in the American Civil War. I owe no reparations, don't fucking ask for any from me. You want to talk about slavery and oppression? Ask the Irish and the Scottish about the 300 years or so from the British.

Stick it all right up your ass with a cherry on top!

Dang! That's pretty effed up! I don't think I could have contained myself. If someone pushed their cart into my cart and shouted something about Obama, I might run up on them and start pummeling them! I've got a major rage issue with those racist SOB's! They all voted for him just to have a black person in the white house, and that is racist! He is completely inept yet he's our president so people can slam carts into your car and say Obama, or ladies can try to steal groceries and say "it's okay Obama is gonna take care of me now." That is crazy ridiculous! No one messes with me I am a pretty innocent looking young white girl.

I've gotten into with a student of mine who thinks "Republicans only want war, and we don't care about the economy." I didn't mention it in my post about his comments, but yes he just so happens to be black also. The lies the media tells these people, ya know I just came up with the solution, well kind of, the media should be held responsible for this outlandish behavior as they are promoting it. With their outward display of malcontent for any who oppose them.

I'm speechless except had it been me I would not have taken that silently. You are to be applauded for a cool head. He should pay for dinging the car except you could never prove it, they would deny all. NIGGER. Plain and simple. Are all blacks? No, but he is. His kind are stupid. Articles are appearing frequently now about blacks who are disenchanted with Obama. They don't get he isn't interested in them or this country. He's out to destroy. Look at the anti-American people he keeps appointing like Tokyo Rosa. Unbelievable RT! I share your anger and frustration. This mess is going to come to a head and I don't think it's going to be pleasant.

My family were sharecroppers- they worked fields just like the slaves- and what for? They got nothing out of it. And we still work for little to nothing today. Maybe that's why we drink beer...

I am no racist either but it is annoying when crap like this happens. People seem to over look what the whole idea of what the word 'racist' means. I have never and will never look down upon someone because of anything...other than the fact of them being a midget...but besides that I dont care. i dont care who or what you like to hump, which imaginary friend worship you follow or what lunatics you vote for.
People are all retarded, I dont hate I just shake my head and move on. You did right by letting that racist go at Walmart with out so much as a middle finger. Black Panthers was a racist movement to combat the Racist movement of the Klan....still racist. Fire with fire doesnt always work it just breeds more hate.
and in the immortal words of Forrest Gump:
'And that's all I got to say about that.'

Becky: It is Effed up. Like Alice said when she went through the looking glass, things are getting curiouser and curiouser...

Leazwell: A Chinese proverb I heard once; May you live in interesting times... I think it's going to get a lot more interesting before it's over. I'm stockpiling now.

Gary: I know, I know... I shouldn't sugar coat things the way I do. Keeping it all bottled up will give me a stroke one day!

Weatherchazer: I hear you. I think things are going to get a lot worse. And I drink beer to get drunk...

Honkeie: I knew I saw you at the last dwarf chucking contest! I agree though, two wrongs definately don't make it right. And in the words of the Immortal Forrest Gump: "Lt. Dan! You got a new pair of legs!"

And MY family wasn't here before the early 1900's! And THEY all had to deal with the Russians and Swedes carving up THEIR country (Finland.) So, don't tell MY family about being repressed, either!!!! (A BIG pet peeve of mine, also!)

The older I get--and closer to death--the happier I am that I won't have to see the end of this country. And if things don't change soon, it WILL happen.

CMK: I haven't forgot about the Finns either, let's not leave out the Pogroms further east in Russia, oh, and let's not forget the Jews... A few thousand years of oppression and slavery there... And I don't think we'll have to wait too long. And just think, it seems like only yesterday I watched live on TV the Soviet Union implode. We thought that Evil Empire was long gone, only to see one like it rise right here.

EVERYONE pretty much has a story of oppression that their ancestors faced, so I don't think any one ethnic/racial group has it all over another. The thing is, some of us actually have tried to move on from our past history, while others can't quit whining about it.

THIS is one of the reasons I am obsessed with hockey: While watching a game I can actually get lost in something that will not have lasting effects on my life or my kids'. I just CAN'T watch the news and haven't been able to since this last election began--WAAAAY too stressful. ;)

Ha ha ha, it feels like deja vu. Here's the thing, you will gradually become a raving racist. You will look back in 10 years time, and wonder how it all went belly up. Blacks don't care about democracy and the right to freedom of association. If you don't toe their line, you are racist. This is exactly the path South Africa took.
