This is my first~ever attempt at making a video with MS Moviemaker. I spent most of the day Monday putting it together with a few personal photos and mostly pictures I pinched from the interweb. I even figured out how to post it on YouTube and then embed it here. I'm proud of myself!
The song is "Brothers In The Night" by Ray Kennedy. If you've ever seen the movie "Uncommon Valor" with Gene Hackman you'll remember it was used in the closing credits. As the song was never released as a single I played hell trying to find it.
Anyway, I'm going to put another video together for Saturday, 6 June, to commemorate the Normandy Invasion using the same song.
Please let me know what you think!

Not bad RT. Not bad at all. Good song.
Gary: Yes, that's all I have to do right now because you won't put me to work during the summer! ;)~
RH: Thanks Bill. It took me a while, but I got it working.
Wish I could have watched all the way through, but I STILL can't manage it. While I am able to watch some war movies these days, I still have a hard time seeing 'real' war pics. A holdover from the Vietnam days. Too many people I knew didn't come home from there.
CMK: No worries... I made it to honor all my brothers & sisters who never came home.
Very cool vid dude! Were you in the military? I was in the air force for a time.
Excellent post Tommy! Even the Brigadier loved it, fuddy old rot he is! I love that you're still at it. The girls miss you as do I!
Great memories I am sure! That's a real cool video, you did good!
BD: Yep... I was in the Army for a time.
C: Thanks! I miss them and you too!
Becky: Not all of them so great, but there is fond ones.
Pretty cool RT!
...anyone who has been under fire...... will know whats this song is about.... take care all
Britt Small and Festival does this song much better! Britt Small is a Vietnam Vet, former Green Beret, former Paratrooper with the 173 Airborne Division, him and his band does shows all over and sings mostly songs from the Nam era but does other types of songs, great performer!
