For all those doubters who've emailed me saying I was making up the story of the fire truck being stolen from my volunteer fire department...
Any information in the recovery of the above pictured vehicle, a 1977 Dodge Powerwagon 4X4 P/U brushfire vehicle, please call the Mercer County, West Virginia Sheriff's Office at 1-304-487-8364 or the Athens, West Virginia Volunteer Fire Department at 1-304-384-7333.
I can't make this shit up... Truth is always stranger than fiction!
Have a swell day!

They don't have any leads???
That really sucks.
What kind of crazy steals a fire truck? You stick out like a sore thumb!!!
Perhaps there’s a sordid black-market for vintage 1977 Dodge pickup parts. Maybe it got stuffed in a crate and is, as we speak, being shipped to Venezuela where a drug cartel kingpin is anxiously awaiting the new addition to his car collection.
I'll let you know if it makes it down to Texas. I'll def be on the look out.
I believed you.
It makes me wonder how people can steal something like that and feel they can get away with it. Does the obcious writing on the sides not tell them they can't go incognito?
